Founded by Lee Bunker in 1974, Accents and Art began as a pioneering picture framing business in Oakland. Known for innovation, Lee introduced large-format mounts and small format lamination, becoming one of two businesses in San Francisco with a Magnapex dry mounting machine. In the '90s, Gary Upchurch took the helm, expanding services to include large format lamination, mounting, and framing. After acquiring Seal Form in '98, the company became a leading source for document laminating in the Bay Area. In 2002, a merger with Artech Laminating birthed "Accents and Artech," now owned by Winston Chu.
